A Day of Giving in Battambang
Reflecting on a University Charity Event That Warmed the Heart

On October 4, 2015, I had the privilege of joining a meaningful charity event organized by my university, the Saint Buni-an University of Battambang (SBUBB). The mission for the day was simple yet powerful: to prepare and deliver food to patients in two different hospitals here in Battambang.
The university organizes programs like this a few times a year to give back to society, and I decided to join because I knew it would be an advantageous experience. It turned out to be so much more.
The Impact of Giving: More Than Just a Meal
Providing Relief
Our contribution helped reduce a small amount of the financial burden of food costs for patients and their families.
Offering Encouragement
More than just food, our presence offered a moment of comfort, encouragement, and solidarity to those facing health challenges.
Building Relationships
The event connected people from all walks of life—students, sponsors, and patients—strengthening the bonds within our community.
Learning & Growing
It was a chance to learn how to do good for society, making a small contribution to peace and understanding at the same time.
"Meanwhile, this activity made me so happy and so proud to be part of it. I just realize this is one way that the happiness come from. I can’t promise but I’ll try help as much as I can from now on. Obviously, we are finding the meaning of life… so do I."

A Heartfelt Thank You
A special thank you to all the sponsors who were the most important part of this event. Your generosity made this day possible. The university and I are proud of you, and we hope that we can continue to do this great activity more and more in the coming future. May all luck come to you!
