Phare: The Cambodian Circus

Forget everything you know about the circus. There are no animals here—just raw human talent, high-energy music, and moving stories. Phare is a world-class performance in Siem Reap that blends theater, modern dance, and jaw-dropping acrobatics to tell the story of Cambodia's past and future.

✨ Performance with a Purpose

Phare is a social enterprise. The performers are graduates of Phare Ponleu Selpak, a non-profit arts school in Battambang that provides free education and professional training to underprivileged youth. By buying a ticket, you are directly supporting the next generation of Cambodian artists.

Live Music: Every show features a live band playing a mix of traditional Khmer instruments and modern rock/metal styles.

Acrobatics: From fire-spinning to insane balancing acts on towers of chairs, the physical skill is mind-blowing.

Rotating Shows: They have several different productions (like White Gold or Influence). Each one tells a unique story.

The show starts at 8:00 PM nightly. Arrive by 7:30 PM to enjoy the pre-show food stalls and the boutique shop.

After the standing ovation, the artists come outside the tent! You can meet them, say thank you, and take photos with the cast.
