The Battambang Grape Farm: A Taste of the Tropics
Are you planning a trip to the historic Banan Temple? Don't miss the perfect side-trip just minutes away! The Battambang Grape Farm (also known as Banay Grape Farm) is a delightful local attraction where you can relax, walk under hanging vines, and taste Cambodia's only locally produced wine.
A family-owned vineyard growing Shiraz & Black Queen grapes.
Banan District (On the road to Banan Temple).
Fresh grape juice & Red wine (brandy style).
A quick 30-minute stop for photos and a drink.
A Surprising Sight
It is a wonderful travel experience to discover something unexpected, and a grape farm is not what most people think of when they imagine the tropical Cambodian countryside! The farm offers a charming, rustic atmosphere. You can wander under the leafy vines, take beautiful photos, and see the grapes growing up close.
After exploring the farm, relax in the seating area to sample their products. Be warned: the "wine" here is often quite sweet and strong, more like a brandy or port, but the fresh grape juice is universally loved!
