Part 1: The Climb
Your adventure begins at the base of the mountain with a formidable challenge: a steep, ancient laterite staircase of **358 steps**. Flanked by beautiful naga (serpent) balustrades, the climb is a workout, but it builds anticipation for what awaits at the summit.

Part 2: The Reward
At the top, you're greeted by five crumbling but beautiful temple towers (prasats) in the classic Angkorian style. Though smaller than Angkor Wat, the sense of history is just as potent. You can explore the intricate stone carvings, observe locals making offerings, and enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Part 3: The Descent & Discovery
After your descent, reward yourself at the market stalls at the base of the mountain. Grab a refreshing fresh coconut or a sweet pineapple. For the more adventurous, ask a local guide about the nearby caves, including L’Ang But Meas, which you can explore before heading back to town.
